HDTV is high-definition television that's amazingly different from any other TV viewing. First, there's the superb clarity of picture and sound, which is the result of a remarkable new technology. Then there's the shape of the 'high def' picture - It's wider than regular TV which means it fits more closely to the human eye's natural field of vision, so it's easier to watch. The wide screen, dramatically clearer picture and Dolby Digital sound create a much richer, fuller TV-viewing experience.
